As London hosts the Olympic Games in 2012, Dame Vivienne dedicated her Men’s SS’12 collection to the athletes of the world.

This season’s inspiration is the sportive gent.
Breezy comfortable summer clothes that can alternatively be worn on an active day to a formal night.

Westwood’s brilliant cut in tailoring prevails consistently and accentuated by her quirky accessories such as red shoes and that ever present orb.

Laurel wreaths which were awarded to the victors in ancient Greece remind us that we owe not only the games to the Greeks but our civilization. Sometimes in these fashion weeks, its more of a statement to go off the regular day shows schedule and find something amusingly 'cool'. Philipp Plein did a whole nightime event instead (show & party) called "BulletProof Hero". Whether it may be trendy, tacky, or directional in some way, it can be suprisingly FUN.

With no formal education in fashion nor basic stitching skills, well travelled German Philipp Plein who merely started designing furniture for family and friends in the late 90s and started street fashion in the mid 2000s...

ROCKS us all with his bikers, skate board dudes meets heavy metal/acid!

Show opener was that mean looking Chuck Bass character of GG (or his lookalike?), the night was topped off with a kicking after party in this palatial venue with gogo girls to match...
